Mondays on the Lawn

Join us in July for "Mondays on the Lawn" at First Christian Church. In 2024, we have a great line up!

  • July 8 - A Different View 
    This storytelling event is the first in our Mondays on the Lawn series. Come enjoy meaningful stories and a storytelling exercise for all to participate in.

  • July 15 - Hymn Sing
    Come sing-a-long with some of your favorite music.

  • July 22 - Castle Ridge
    Come listen to Mark & Joy Clark, the dynamic duo of Castle Ridge, as they perform bluegrass and gospel music on the guitar and fiddle.

  • July 29 - Spoken Word with an Open Mic
    Corinne Stanley & Mario Duarte are featured at this event celebrating spoken word. The time will conclude with an open mic, so bring either an original work or a favorite piece by another author, to share.

In August, free frozen treats are back! Come get an ice cream cup (or a popsicle), served in the upper church parking lot. Drive-up, bike-up or walk-up are all welcome. You can grab-n-go or stay-n-chat (bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on while you chat with neighbors). We hope to see you there! 

These events are part of our summer Mondays on the Lawn, at First Christian Church, 900 Lincolnshire Place in Coralville, Iowa. All events are free and open to all.
