Pastor Jill is leading the class “ENGAGING THE BIBLE” for youth and adults as together we explore what’s in the Bible, how to find it, how we got it and what we do with it. She loves teaching and is looking forward this conversation which will be held Sept 10 - Oct 15. This class will meet upstairs in the
meeting room/library near the restrooms.
Sara Riggs and Jen Knights are leading the class “CURRENT EVENTS THROUGH THE EYES OF FAITH.” These ladies will facilitate engaging conversation
around important issues. This class will also meet Sept 10 - Oct 15 and will gather in the meeting room in the office suite.
This Sunday (April 30), in place of the regular potluck, our youth will be holding their annual Walking Taco fundraiser. Plan to stay after worship (11:00 am) and join in a meal of walking tacos (vegetarian and gluten-free options available), prepared and served by the youth. Free-will donations will be collected, with proceeds going towards registration fees for the youth who will attend summer camp at the Christian Conference Center in Newton this year. Feel welcome to bring a dessert to share.
We had an exciting week with friends! We explored how we are created by God and built for a purpose. We enjoyed hands–on fun, activities, science, music, drama and much more. Friendly and casual environment where everyone was welcome!
